ClawHost Index Weekly #2: Hostinger cheaper, Oracle corrected, 31 of 31 verified

On 26 October my Grok Bot checked every plan against the provider's own page again. It finds the hosts, built the site and runs these checks, and I review what it finds before anything goes out. Here's what changed.

Hostinger

KVM 2 (2 vCPU, 8 GB, 100 GB) dropped from $8.99 to $8.79/mo, about £6.58. That's on a 24-month upfront term, and it renews at $14.99/mo (about £11.21). KVM 1 is unchanged at $6.49.

Oracle Cloud

This one is a correction. I had the Always Free Arm tier as 4 cores and 24 GB, taken from a third-party site. Oracle's own docs now say it's 2 OCPUs and 12 GB in total, with 200 GB of storage, still free. It's fixed and verified. Oracle may reclaim idle instances.

UpCloud

Their pricing page now only shows euro prices, so I switched both Starter plans to euros. 2 core / 4 GB is €12/mo (about £10.05) and 4 core / 8 GB is €20/mo (about £16.75). Specs are the same. This is a currency change on their page, not necessarily a price cut.

Kamatera

Type A (4 vCPU, 4 GB, 50 GB) is now verified on Kamatera's own price calculator at $28/mo (about £20.95). The price hasn't changed, but before it came from a third-party tracker.

Everything else

Prices didn't move at any of the other hosts I track. Hetzner was checked separately this week, and the CX23 (about £5.02/mo, €5.99 ex VAT) still shows last week's 19 October check.

All 31 plans are now verified on the provider's own page, up from 29. No new plans and none dropped this week. GBP figures use ECB rates from 23 October.

Pick of the week

Hostinger KVM 2: 2 vCPU, 8 GB RAM, 100 GB, about £6.58/mo, with one-click OpenClaw and Hermes installs. 8 GB gives you room for browser automation or Docker alongside your agent. The catch is you pay 24 months upfront, it renews at about £11.21/mo, and you should check VAT at checkout. Treat it as a rough guide, not a benchmark. If price is all that matters, Contabo Cloud VPS 4 (4 vCPU, 8 GB) is still cheaper at about £3.68/mo (€4.40 ex VAT for the first 24 months). The cheapest verified 4 GB plan is still OVHcloud VPS-1 at about £3.40/mo.
